Land Ark Foundation has a superior non-staining joinery, end grain sealer and buffing wax no matter the size of the job! Use alone or as a finish coat on any woodwork for added sheen and protection. Also refurbishes dry, dull logs, timbers, or anything made of wood. Apply one of two ways: rub in as a polish and buff dry, or apply, let dry, and polish with a power buffer. This product is excellent for periodic maintenance and cleaning of timber frames.
We have just improved our wax recipe by increasing the rosin content. Which makes our Liquid Wax an even more wonderful finish for floors, countertops or any fine woodworking project. It creates an even harder/faster drying surface which stands up better in high use areas. It may be thinned with liquid finish if desired. Mildewcide and UVA additives are available upon request. Liquefies instantly when applied. We'll be happy to send you a free sample of our wax for you to try. Just give us a call!
Non-Staining End Sealer/Liquid Wax Application: Stir before AND during use, and avoid application in direct sunlight or rain. Apply to woodwork of any type, using a real lambswool applicator or pad, a well-made brush, or a rag. We do not recommend application with a paint roller, however many of our customers have been using high quality lambswool, short nap rollers and had great success.
Either rub in Wax as a polish and buff dry, or apply, let dry, and polish with a power buffer. May be thinned with Interior Finish or Pure Citrus Solvent if desired. It can be used alone or as a finish coat on any woodwork for added sheen and protection; refurbishes any dry, dull logs, timbers, or other woodwork. It is excellent for periodic maintenance and cleaning of timber frames. Re-apply as necessary; there is no need to sand.
DO NOT apply our finishes over the top of other products or finishes. Land Ark finishes are very durable; repair by rubbing more product into abrasions, scuffs and scratches with an abrasive pad ('Scotch Brite' - type pads). The nature of Land Ark prevents most problems with air bubbles, lap marks, and dust.
Color Application: Apply light coats with a lambswool pad or staining sponge and back brush or rub out. Mix before and during use. Colors are premixed to almost maximum intensity and often need lightening. If color is too intense, add non-tinted liquid finish to lighten, just a little at a time. Be sure to keep a record of all proportions used! A muddy grain or color blotching indicates the need to add more non-tinted liquid finish. Top coat with clear liquid or wax finish.
Minimum Coverage: 300-400 square feet or 500-700 board feet; rough-sawn materials tend to absorb more.
